Philadelphia has become one of my favorite cities to explore. There is so much rich history, amazing food, and the cutest buildings! Cameron and I began our nine-day road trip in Philly and it was an amazing way to start the trip. We stayed in the Will Suite at Lokal Hotel, a boutique invisible service hotel and oh my word, it was the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in! There is no front desk or on site staff. You receive your codes to get into the building and into your room a few days before you arrive. It makes check in and check out so easy and painless.

Cameron dropped me off at the hotel and headed off to a Philadelphia Phillies game, so I was able to enjoy the room to myself and take some shots to share with you all! Be prepared, you’re gonna want to stay here when you see the photos!

My favorite part about the room besides the gorgeous decorating was the built-in speakers connected to the iPad when you walk in the room. I am a huge music person and always have to have music on. It created such a fun atmosphere and vibe for our stay.

This room would be perfect for a week-long or even two-week long stay in Philly. In the room is a full kitchen and even a washer and dryer, I was so impressed! The room felt so open and spacious and every decorated detailed was so thought out. Cameron and i kept saying to each other we could totally live in a studio space at our next apartment because it felt so open and spacious.

The location of Lokal Hotel was so convenient! It’s located in Old City District and was super close walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see. I’m sure Cameron got annoyed with how many times I said, “aww that’s so cute!” to every old building we walked by. Seriously though, I have a soft spot for historic buildings with cool architecture. I honestly enjoyed walking around the block from our hotel and looking at all the buildings and shops.

Having driven 10 hours, Cameron and I were exhausted and turned in to our room early. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt so refreshed when we woke up. I was extremely happy that Lokal Hotel had coffee to prepare in the morning because this girl needs her caffeine to start functioning. A week before our stay I received an email asking how I took my coffee. I got to choose my roast type and what milk I preferred (soy). Rival Bros Coffee was provided along with soy milk and it was SO GOOOD. I actually messaged the coffee shop later in the day asking if they ship their grounds because I was going to need some stat in Indiana when we got home.

We were so sad to check out of our room because it was so perfect and homey. We were so thankful with Stay Lokal for letting us experience their Will Suite. Everything about our visit went so smoothly. From arrival to departure it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had and we will definitely be back next time we’re in Philly.

Stay Lovely,

Hannah Shanae
