Merry Christmas Eve Eve everyone! I hope you have been able to enjoy this week and not be stressed with Christmas approaching.

Maybe I am crazy, but it does not feel like Christmas time to me. I am usually one who starts listening to Christmas music in October and am begging my parents to put up the tree by Thanksgiving. This year for some reason has felt different. Maybe it is the weather. Today, it poured down rain all day and yesterday I didn’t even need to wear a coat. While the weather may not be in the Christmas spirit, I am thankful for Christmas parties to help make the holidays feel more festive.

Christmas parties are a fun part of the holiday season and a great excuse to get dressed up and wear some red lipstick. The endless amount of desserts and hot chocolate are a definite plus as well. The past two weeks I pretty much lived in yoga pants and fleece sweatshirts, so it was nice to throw together this Christmas party look and pretend I was fancy for a moment.

I got my plaid skirt for my birthday two years ago and it always makes an appearance this time of year. The coloring is perfect and fun for a Christmas party and the pockets make great storage to sneak home extra cookies :). A fun way to add a festive vibe to your look is by layering your sweater over a collared button up. The embellished collar dresses up your outfit and makes you feel fancy all at the same time. Lastly, apply some red lipstick and then you are ready to conquer the Christmas party.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Stay Lovely,

Hannah Shanae

I definitely haven’t felt like it’s the holidays until MUCH later. Now that it’s Christmas Eve, I’m like oh yeah tomorrow’s Christmas! adaatude.com
