Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are excited to attack this week with enthusiasm, yay! I try to be positive on Monday’s because well, it’s Monday. Today I woke up to it pouring rain outside and wanted to pull the covers back over my head and sleep the rest of the day. Sadly, life can’t stop because of rain (wouldn’t that be awesome)?! Anyways, I was having weather envy while writing this post because it was such a beautiful day when I got these pictures done. Okay, rant is over and I hope you guys got to experience sunshine and warm weather on this fine Monday. 🙂

In my last post I shared one of my favorite weekend looks to wear, so today I figured I would share my casual go-to look. I have classes everyday (except Friday FriYAY) and even though my classes don’t start till noon, I still somehow manage to take forever to pick out an outfit. I have gotten into the routine of choosing my outfit the night before and it has saved me so much time in the mornings! I like to dress more comfortable for classes and I have learned that comfort doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your style. My college has a strict dress code where we can’t wear shorts or leggings, so jeans are always a go-to choice for my everyday look.

My go-to everyday look usually involves jeans, a detailed top, and my favorites flats or loafers.  This adorable tassel tee from J.Crew is my favorite tee at the moment. I found it this summer before moving back to school and knew it was love at first sight. I could honestly probably be inducted into the outfit repeaters hall of fame by now for this look, oh well. The nude suede flats have become an obsession of mine and are extremely comfortable (after I broke them in, which hurt like heck)! They go with just about any outfit and the pointy toe helps elongate your legs, woohoo!

What is your go-to weekday look?

Stay Lovely,

Hannah Shanae

I love this look, your photos and outfit are amazing! My go-to look would have to be a pair of chino pants and a button-up or a boatneck tee — I like to feel comfortable but still put together!

This look is so cute!!! I wish we all dressed up a little more for classes… I hate not wearing half of my clothes! But I always result to the big t-shirt and shorts with everyone else haha. Love this though!
